Fabric Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2, 2026. Fabric is an app for designing T-shirt graphics with AI and ordering them as printed shirts. It is provided by Engcraft, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information Fabric collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with.
Data controller
Fabric is provided by Engcraft, LLC. For privacy requests, legal notices, or deletion requests, contact support@engcraft.io.
Information we collect and process
Fabric does not ask you to create an account. The app identifies your device with an anonymous identifier, which links your designs, credits, and orders. When you create a design, the text prompt you type or dictate, and any photo you choose to add, are sent to Engcraft’s backend so the design can be generated. Generated designs and the prompts behind them are stored so your library can show them. When you order a shirt, we collect what is needed to make and deliver it: the design, the product options you pick (such as size and color), your name, delivery address, and contact phone number.
AI processing
Designs are generated by third-party AI image models, including OpenAI image models and other image generation providers, through Engcraft’s backend. These providers receive your prompt and any photo you add only to produce the design you asked for. AI-generated designs may be inaccurate or not match your request.
Payments and orders
Shirt orders are paid through Stripe. Your card details are entered into Stripe’s payment form and go to Stripe directly; we do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe tells us whether a payment succeeded. Your design, product options, name, delivery address, and phone number are shared with the print and delivery partners who produce and ship your order, only for that purpose. Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple, and RevenueCat helps us manage subscription status and purchase records.
Device permissions
Fabric may ask for access to your camera and photo library so you can add a photo to a design or save a design to your photos, and to your microphone and speech recognition so you can dictate a prompt. Dictation uses Apple’s speech recognition and is processed by Apple under its own terms. Each permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings.
Analytics and service providers
We use Amplitude to understand how features are used, and Google Firebase to store generations and operate parts of the service. These providers process information on our behalf. We do not sell personal information and do not use your information for third-party advertising.
Retention, deletion, and your rights
Designs and orders are kept as long as needed to provide the app, complete and support your orders, and meet legal and accounting obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting support@engcraft.io. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Security, transfers, children, and changes
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Fabric is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version on this page.
